Jamestown Choralaires - A History of Excellence

The Jamestown Choralaires were started in 1955 under the direction of Warren Duntley and accompanied by Duane Anderson. Since formed in 1955, the group has had seven directors and eleven accompanists. Charter members sang with us until 2011.

The Jamestown Choralaires are under the direction of Pamela Burkhardt with Richard Walentine as accompanist.

In 2016, the Jamestown Choralaires were invited to sing at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

The Glory of Freedom - Testament of Freedom - written by Randall Thompson was performed on Sunday, February 19, 2017 under the direction of Dr. Lee Nelson of Wartburg College.
